Centre door pulls from The Door Knocker Company are made using traditional forging methods and some of them are made right here in The Midlands.
The door pulls are made from cast brass and are either left to age naturally or finished with chrome or nickel plate.
As the name suggests, centre door pulls are designed to be used to pull the door closed and are placed in the centre of the door though this is not necessary.
The designs are Georgian and Victorian and will compliment a period property renovation as much as adding the finishing touches to any home.
Cupboard knobs from The Door Knocker Company cover a range of ages from the Regency beehive cupboard knob in aged brass to cottage
cupboard knobs in black iron. There is also a range of sizes from tiny
20mm to large 40mm diameter.
The finishes are aged brass, nickel plate on solid brass and forge blackened iron with a beeswax coating.
The Door Knocker Company is a supplier of British made curtain pole holders and curtain tie-backs. All of these curtain pole brackets and curtain tie-backs are cast
in brass using time honoured methods. There are 3 designs of curtain tie back as
well as a large loop design for large heavy curtains.
Door knobs from The Door Knocker Company are available in brass,
nickel, ebony, crystal, wood and cast iron.

are suitable for rim or mortise locks and latches.
The designs cover a wide range of periods from Georgian to Victorian, as well as cottage door knobs and simple contemporary door knobs.
Drawer pulls from The Door Knocker Company are sometimes refered to
as cup handles. They are a covered pull and our range are made from
cast brass and cast iron from a variety of decorative periods. The majority are Victorian but our range covers earlier Georgian styles and later
art deco. Some, however, are more plain and were originally found on old desk drawers.
The cast iron is either left raw which can be painted, or it is lacquered, protecting the iron from the damp of a kitchen, for example. The brass is
not lacquered in order to offer the authentic finish of the age of their first production.
Finger plates or push plates from The Door Knocker Company are mostly made in the UK using traditional casting methods.
Finger plates were primarily used in the Victorian era to keep the paint-work clean where the door is most often pushed open or closed. Now, finger plates are a great way to decorate the door and re-create the look of a by-gone era.
Our finger plates are all made from brass and though most of them are cast, some are made from pressed brass, another traditional method of making fingerplates.

Door handles from The Door Knocker Company Company are available
in brass, nickel, pewter finish and black iron.
The lever handles are suitable for mortise locks and latches, some with
a key hole suitable for locking doors and others without a key hole for internal doors.
The Door Knocker Company also has a range of pull handles with a
black beeswax finish for internal doors. This range of door handles will
suit period property and cottage renovations as well as adding a touch of style to any traditional or contemporary property.
Strong traditional wrought iron penny end T hinges are available in the following sizes 6", 9", 11", 12", 15", 18" to 22" making them suitable for cupboard doors and house doors, to barn doors, garage doors and gates. Here is a wide range of British Made Early Victorian to late Edwardian hat and coat hooks made in solid brass and cast iron. Interspersed amongst these period hat and coat hooks are some early wrought iron hooks of English design. These hooks can be ordered individually or mounted on a hook board.

Letter plates, or letter box covers from The Door Knocker Company are cast using traditional methods from brass or iron and are either left to age naturally or are chrome or nickel plated. The iron is finished with a black powder coating.
Letter plates keep draughts out of the house as well as adding a decorative element to the front door.
Letter box covers can be plain or decorative, often letters is written accross the flap or there may be an inclusive door knocker or rapper.
Self coloured and black traditional rose head nails for use as decoration on a door, or replacing screws in a suffolk latch or wrought iron hinges.
Unlacquered brass and black house numbers. Finally, there are house numbers available that don't have a lacquer finish that compliment traditional door furniture.
These brass numbers will tarnish over time and can be cleaned while the black numbers perfectly compliment black door knockers and letter plates.
Rim locks from The Door Knocker Company are available in chrome, brass and black, all with keys.
The rim latches are made from cast brass and iron with a thumb latch mechanism. All of the rim locks and latches are reversible meaning that they can be used on either side of the door.
