Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout Now’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need so we can complete the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards. To pay online, select “Credit / Debit Card” as your preferred payment method. You will be directed to the payment page so that you can enter your card details securely and in compliance with the current PCI (Payment card industry) guidelines.

You can also pay by cheque or send your credit card information via phone, fax or snail mail. Just select “Invoice and payment before delivery” as your preferred payment method and we will send you an invoice. Then send us your payment and once it has been cleared your order will be dispatched.

If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, place your order and your credit / debit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping and Handling

All delivery charges are calculated according to weight. Many orders will be dispatched within the UK for under £5.00. Please see our table of charges on the Delivery Info page. If you would like your order to be delivered more quickly, even though it is light, then please choose the courier option at the higher charge.

Please be aware that all courier collections have to be booked by 11.00am so not all orders will be delivered next day. We do, however, endeavour to send your goods by courier at the earliest opportunity.

If you are placing an order to be delivered outside the UK, please submit your order as normal. The site will calculate the shipping cost according to the weight of your parcel.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally dispatch your order within two working days after receipt of payment. We will inform you immediately if any items you have ordered are out of stock.

Back Orders

We don’t take back orders, however, if there is a product(s) you are interested in, please feel free to use ‘Notify Me’ on the product(s). When a product is back in stock, you will then receive an automated email to notify you.

Should any of your items not be in stock we will contact you via email to notify you of this, you will be provided with a timescale for when the orders will become available and the option to cancel the order and have a refund if you would prefer not to wait.

VAT at 20% is included in all prices. Our VAT number is 118 5170 26

Credit / Debit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted in compliance with current PCI (Payment Card Industry) guidelines. They are processed by Clear Accept and never sent to our computers. They are not held in clear text on any web site. This web site has been scanned, by Securitymetrics.com, making us PCI compliant.

Guarantee

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase so if it arrives damaged in any way then give us a call or email us. We will replace any damaged items but would need to ask you to return the goods with their original packaging. We will then refund any costs incurred. If, however, you find the product just not suitable, then return the goods to us and we will refund your purchase cost (postage not included). Note: The item returned must be in the same condition in which it was received.

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if it arrives damaged in any way then give us a call or email us. We will replace any damaged items but would need to ask you to return the damaged goods with their original packaging. We will then refund any costs incurred. If, however, you find the product is just not suitable, then goods can be returned to us as long as the packaging is intact (ie. if an item is in a sealed plastic bag, the seal must remain sealed and the individual boxes undamaged) and we will refund the purchase cost (postage not included).
