International Deliveries

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the United Kingdom, please note that your delivery may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid for by you. It is accepted by you that The Door Knocker Company Limited has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your delivery. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer. Where the delivery address is outside of the UK and these rules apply when you reach the checkout screen the VAT will be automatically removed from your payment.

Postage & Packing to the UK mainland

Most orders are delivered for less than £6.00 within mainland UK. However, as many of our items are heavy, when ordering multiple or weighty items, the carriage method will automatically revert to courier as the cheapest method of postage.
Postage is calculated automatically based on weight, with options to choose from within each weight bracket. Please see the table below for basic UK mainland delivery charges:

Please note that for next day delivery we have a 2pm (14:00) cut-off.

Where possible we pack our goods in pre-used packaging in our bid to be a little more eco-friendly. If we have to use new packaging it would be great if you might be able to re-use it yourself.

We Deliver Worldwide

We ship our goods worldwide. All shipping costs are automatically calculated at the checkout based on location and weight. So if you are placing an order to be delivered outside the UK mainland, please just submit your order as normal.


We will dispatch your order within two working days after receipt of payment. We will inform you immediately if any items you have ordered are out of stock. If part of your order is in stock and you wish it to be sent straight away, then we will send this part of the order and send the remaining items as soon as they come back into stock (Please see back orders below).

Please be aware that all courier collections have to be booked by 14:00, therefore only courier orders received and paid for before 14:00 will be shipped on the same day, orders received after this time will then be shipped on the following working day.

Back Orders

We don’t take back orders, however, if there is a product(s) you are interested in, please feel free to use ‘Notify Me’ on the product(s). When a product is back in stock, you will then receive an automated email to notify you.

Should any of your items not be in stock we will contact you via email to notify you of this, you will be provided with a timescale for when the orders will become available and the option to cancel the order and have a refund if you would prefer not to wait.


Returns Policy
If the item you have purchased is unwanted or unsuitable and you would like to return it, we will happily exchange or refund the item within fourteen days, providing the item has not been used and is returned in its original packaging.
Please note that, unless faulty, products that have been made to order cannot be returned.
Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your item arrives and it is damaged, or any parts are missing, then you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt of your item.
Returning your item
When returning your item please ensure you include your order number and reason for return, and ensure that the item is properly packaged, and all parts are included. Items returned damaged, or with parts missing will not be refunded in full. Should we receive a return that has been damaged, or where parts are missing, we will notify you on receipt of any issues.
We do not pay for, or refund the cost of return postage, unless the item was received damaged or it has been supplied incorrectly.

For small parcels weighing under 2kg you can book the return postage using the Royal Mail website CLICK HERE
For parcels larger than 2kg you can use either Parcel2Go or Parcelforce and arrange for the item to be collected
Returns received which incur Duty or Tax charges, will be charged against the return amount so please contact us before returning for more information.
