The cast iron bird hat and coat hook is a stylised crane coat hook with lovely detail on then wings and head. The curved neck of the bird makes up the hat hook while the feet make the coat hook.
These hooks are traditionally made using sand casting techniques just as the original would have been, then finished with a very light oil giving a dark pewter finish. The hooks can be rubbed with a cloth to remove the protective film.
Sizes: 135mm (5 1/4″) high x 95mm (3 3/4″) projection. 65mm (2.5″) from top of tail to bottom of back plate. 2 screws fasten the back plate to the wall.
