Heavy Ring Knocker with External Beeswax Finish

External beeswax is unique to “From the Anvil” and is manufactured from an anti-corrosive beeswax which is salt tested to 480 hours. It has a matt richness and similarly to their standard beeswax the depth of colour ranges from blue/black, to deep red ochre.
The blacksmith has wrought the hot iron, first making the ends narrower before bringing the ends together to form a ring. The ring is then mounted on a hamered back plate and black powder coated to make it weather-proof. The ring strikes against a hand made stud.
Sizes: Total height 160mm (6 1/4″) x 120mm (4 3/4″) wide. The striking plate is a hammer-in black stud which is approximately 25mm (1″) diameter. Boxed weight 1.2kg. Surface fixed to the front of your door.
