These finger plates, sometimes known as push plates, depict the Roman God Neptune, god of freshwater and the ocean.
Introduced in the Victorian era to keep interior doors clean of dirty finger marks, these finger plates are still used today to decorate our doors.
These highly detailed push plates are hand polished and then nickel plated for a contemporary look.
