These large black letter plates are available in 2 sizes and are made from cast iron and have a smooth finish with some hammer marks in the surface. The black powder coating gives durable weather protection.
This smooth black finish matches other black door furniture in our range, including the lion door knocker, heavy ring door knocker and black house numers.
Sizes:
Large: Overall size: 321mm (12.5″) x 109mm (4 1/4″). Front opening size: 256mm (10.1″) wide x 45mm (1 3/4″) high. Fixing centres: 290mm (11.3″) centre to centre.
Small: Overall size: 266mm (10 1/4″) x 108mm (4 1/4″). Front opening size: 201mm (8″) x 44mm (1 3/4″). Fixing centres: 243mm (9 1/2″)
The inner fixings bolts have black dome nuts.
NB. It is advisable not to cut a new hole in a door until you have the letter plate to hand
