Large Brass Doctors Door Knocker

This large brass Regency era door knocker from Castelion® is of a timeless design. It is named as the doctor’s knocker as it is reputed to have been used on many doctors’ front doors.
An original door knocker has been used to create a pattern for this elegant, large, cast brass door knocker which has been hand polished and left unlacquered.
Sizes: 245mm (9.5″) high x 67mm (2 5/8″) wide at the back plate. Projection approximately 90mm (3.5″). The distance between the fixings is approximately 170mm (6.6″). Boxed weight 1kg
