Solid Brass Lion with Ring Door Knocker

A traditional Georgian solid brass lion door knocker from Castelion®, holding a ring in his mouth that acts as the striking plate. The lion design, suggesting strength and power is a typical style of the Georgian era.

Traditionally sand cast in the same way they would have been the first time round, these lion door knockers are hand polished and left unlacquered to create an authentic door knocker for a front door renovation or a brand new front door.

Sizes: 180mm (7 1/16″) high by 110mm (4 5/16″) wide. The distance between the fixings is approximately 153mm (6″). The fixings are 2 threaded bolts which go right through the door and are finished with brass dome headed nuts. 2 screws are also supplied for the holes visible on the picture. Boxed weight 1.5kg
