This is a small simple wrought iron latch from Castelion® that is suitable for a cupboard or store as it can only be operated from one side of the door.
These latches are traditionally forge blackened and finished with bees wax.
Sizes: 125mm long x 32mm wide at widest point. The staple is 96mm high x 18mm wide maximum, the keep is 62mm long approximately.
